Shear Machine Operator with Forklift

Title: Forklift / Shear Machine Operator

Location: Brampton, ON

Wage: $23.00 - 25.00/hr.

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm

Shifts available: Monday to Friday

We are currently building a candidate pool for a future vacancy with our client, a well-established producer of architectural panels in Brampton.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator with experience in a manufacturing environment. While shear operating experience is an asset, the client is willing to provide training for the right candidate. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and grow within a reputable sheet metal company.

J ob Duties :

• Operate machine to Shear metal structural shapes
• Must be able to read drawings with attention to detail
• May also require cutting or strip metals according to length and orders using power tools
• Safely operate Electric counterbalance when required
• Load and off load sheet raw sheet metal and or finished goods
• Assist in other departments as required

Job Requirements:

• Ability to read blueprints and use calipers
• Valid Forklift certification
• Atleast 2 years of operating forklift in a manufacturing setting
• Must have minimum 1-year previous experience in a similar type of role
• Open to learning new Shear machine skills
• Work independently or as a team
