Reporting to the Senior Manager of E-Mobility & Residential Electrification, you will lead Nova Scotia Power's customer-focused hub for electric mobility solutions. As the Manager, EV Services, you will deliver end-to-end support for drivers, businesses, and communities--covering home and workplace charging, fleet electrification, and public fast-charging operations. Our mission is to make EV adoption simple, reliable, and rewarding, while enabling smart energy management and innovation across the province.
Key elements of this role include:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead EV Services programming across three segments: At Home, At Work, and On-the-Go--own the portfolio strategy, roadmaps, and delivery. Earn and retain customer trust across the EV journey.
- Accountable for the commercial and operational strategy for Nova Scotia Power-owned fast charging sites; ensure reliability, uptime, safety, and customer service with full P&L accountability.
- Advance the capital project pipeline; manage site-host relationships, vendors, and delivery team.
- Support managed charging initiatives and their integration into the utility for planning, forecasting, and resource delivery.
- Develop contractor management and capacity-building programs; grow a reliable Preferred Contractor network for EVSE installation and service.
- Resource and create a strategy for commercial operators charging commercial vehicles and charging at work.
- Engage the e-mobility ecosystem for continuous feedback and business intelligence. Develop partnerships that accelerate the adoption of EVs in Nova Scotia and improve the EV experience.
- Contribute to load forecast; translate insights into grid and program plans.
- Support innovation through targeted pilots and partnerships; evaluate emerging technologies and business models.
- Provide cross-functional leadership while leveraging shared resources and eventually building a dedicated EV Services team.
- Lead with safety--ensure compliance with applicable standards, utility procedures, and site-construction best practices.

To thrive in this role, you recognize yourself in most of the following competencies and skills listed below:
Minimum bachelor level post-secondary education in Business or Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5 - 10 years of progressive experience in program or product management, utility or energy services, transportation electrification, or related fields.
Understanding of electricity and electrical utility operations; familiarity with EV charging technologies, standards, and site development.
Business-oriented and customer-focused with demonstrated experience building programs, partnerships, and compelling value propositions.
Strong financial acumen (business cases, budgets), analytical skills (forecasting, KPIs), and data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional communication skills--comfortable on-site and in the boardroom; able to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and project management tools an asset.
Valid Class 5 driver's license.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
In office four days a week, with option for up to one remote day per week.
Province-wide travel to worksites, charging locations, partners, and community events; driving up to 4-5 hours one way from Halifax, as needed. This may include overnight stays from time to time, or adjusting working hours to evenings / weekends as required.
Work may require being outdoors and engaging with the public on site; occasional evenings and weekends based on project or event needs.
Time off in lieu will be provided where hours exceed a normal 35-hour work week; all travel costs and arrangements are paid by employer.
