As an Engineering Intern you will work in collaboration with the Instrumentation team on various construction projects related to Geotechnical Instrumentation.

Your main responsibilities

  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules;
  • Attend site visits and collect data with total stations and other instruments;
  • Support the Project Manager and Field Supervisor with field responsibilities such as instrument installations and maintenance;
  • Prepare technical report;
  • Participate in preconstruction site visits and field inspections;
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.
  • Pursue continuous self-learning and professional development opportunities;

  • Enrolled in an Environmental/Geological/Civil Engineering program or related discipline;
  • Ability to handle samples up to 25kg of materials regularly;
  • Must have a valid Ontario G Driver's License;
  • Access to a personal vehicle for work purposes (mileage will be compensated);
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.

The wage range for this position is $22 to $28 CAD base per hour, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate's skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.

Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit. We aim to foster transparency, respect candidate time and ensure equitable compensation aligned with our company values.
