Purpose of Position:
To support both the Manager and Financial Analyst within the Financial Services departments by managing costs and/or financial issues related to Airports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the month-end close process by preparing accruals for major airport expenses, importing journal entries, and ensuring expenses are properly reflected in the general ledger.
- Support the Financial analysts in the preparation of explanations for monthly, quarterly and annual variance reports.
- Provide support to the operations group on financial inquiries and liaison with accounts payable as required.
- Support the budget and outlook process by planning and preparing necessary feedback on rates and activity.
- Establish and maintain the financial relationship with Airport Authorities in self invoicing of fees and monthly activity reports.
- Code invoices related to airport operations, Landing and Terminal Fees.
- Promote an open, honest and supportive work environment.

- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
Education
- Undergraduate Business Degree, major in accounting is required.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year’ experience in invoice preparation and payments.
- Must have a minimum advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with an advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines, achieve objectives and work well under pressure.
- Must possess strong analytical skills.
- Must exhibit a positive attitude, excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
- Able to convey information clearly and professionally to stakeholders at every level, using multiple communication mediums.
- Driven to excel in a high-quality, client service environment.
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Some overtime will be required to meet reporting deadlines.
Additional Qualifications
- Two years’ financial experience in the airline industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of Epicor and Ariba an asset.
Language Requirements
- English language fluency or working knowledge is required.
