The Opportunity:
As a Programmer Analyst you'll work on a team that employs leading-edge technologies for mission critical high-performance applications. We're looking for candidates ideally with full-stack experience who will work on the core insurance applications that serve as the backbone to our diverse and critical products offerings.

You will work in a highly collaborative team that functions efficiently even in a remote work setting. The work hours are Monday - Friday, regular daytime business hours. There is on-call support required for this role that is distributed amongst the team. As well, security clearance

Required Qualifications:
Education: Relevant diploma or bachelor's degree (Computer Science) or equivalent work experience
Work Experience: Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in web application development, including interpreting technical specifications and contributing to the design, development, testing, and documentation of software components. Hands?on experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
Other Qualifications:
- Experience of Micro-service architecture and design patterns
- Experience of REST API
- Experience of code versioning tools, such as Git Using
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with Relational Database
- Lead, mentor, and guide less experienced developers in best practices

Security Clearance: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B). This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.

Pay Range:
61,221 - 68,873 CAD
The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
