About Coast-to-Coast Insurance Partners

As an independent, 100% Canadian insurance brokerage firm, we have been providing tailor-made solutions for clients since 1995. Not only do we sell individual health and group insurance, we also sell life, critical illness, disability and long-term care plans We're a one stop shop for client's insurance needs.

Position Overview

As the brokerage's Account Executive, you are a high-energy, dynamic, and passionate individual who's not afraid to challenge the status quo. You enjoy building relationships, have a solid understanding of our clients' needs, and provide solutions to ensure their overall satisfaction. You care deeply about these relationships and what you do - customer service is your top priority. You're the go-to expert on all things related to Individual Insurance and you're always keeping up-to-date on the latest industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining business relationships with clients to retain their business, maximize sales opportunities and referrals.
  • Meeting assigned sales targets which will include individual life, living benefits and health products.
  • Conducting plan/ benefit reviews with new and existing clients; educating and providing guidance and direction on individual health and life solutions.
  • Working with your team to execute the organization's sales strategies.
  • Responding to client questions and concerns, including outbound follow-up activity, communicating final decisions before placement of policy, and working with clients to resolve any post-sale service issues.
  • Day-to-day administration activities, ensuring a high service level while communicating with clients via telephone and email.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge of the health and life insurance solutions available through Medavie Blue Cross and other insurers under HUB Financial.

Requirements

  • Active Life and Sickness & Accident Insurance License.
  • Minimum one year of experience selling Individual Insurance Products
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • English is requirement, written and verbal, to provide services to our customers and communicate with internal stakeholders.

Assets

  • GBA or CEBS designation and/ or other industry courses.
  • Post-secondary education in business/ marketing.
  • Bilingualism (English and French)

Pay Range:
53 235 - 59 890 CAD

The Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
