SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Regional Director of Medical Imaging Services, the incumbent will assume overall responsibility for the administrative management of human, financial and material resources, staff training, and quality and risk management of medical imaging services in their zone. They will ensure that services comply with legislation, accreditation standards and Vitalité Health Network standards and policies. They will also plan activities based on the strategic plan, Vitalité Health Network priorities and identified needs. They must adhere to the mission, vision and values of Vitalité Health Network.
They are required to supervise employees who physically work in other facilities. Therefore, as part of their duties, they are required to travel within their zone or within the Vitalité Health Network territory.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Undergraduate degree in the health care field or any other combination of relevant training and experience deemed equivalent;
- Minimum of five years' clinical experience;
- Minimum of three years' management or supervisory experience;
- Member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (New Brunswick Division);
- Knowledge of software commonly used at Vitalité Health Network;
- Skills in service planning, evaluation and improvement, as well as conflict and problem resolution;
- Strategic-thinking skills and innovative and collaborative management style;
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to delegate duties and responsibilities;
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize assigned tasks;
- Participatory leadership style that focuses on patients and outcomes and inspires commitment, respect, compassion and equity;
- Engagement, commitment to change, and ability to manage with a positive attitude;
- Ability to use evidence-based data in decision-making;
- Sincere desire to improve professional knowledge and skills, and ability to stimulate professional interest within the team;
