Product Management is a pivotal department of our business, responsible for creating product strategies that solve customer challenges and deliver exceptional mobility service experiences. Our focus is on developing and optimizing mobile service offerings to drive customer satisfaction and create sustainable competitive advantage.

Reporting to the Director, Product Management & Strategic Projects, the Manager, Mobile Product Management leads the product strategy and long term vision for our mobility services portfolio. This role oversees the entire product lifecycle with a strong emphasis on business outcomes, customer lifecycle optimization, and cross-functional leadership, rather than technical product development. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, market insight, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Product Managers in managing the Mobile Services (mobile devices, rate plans, travel options, etc.) and promotional roadmaps.
  • Develop pricing and packaging strategies grounded in competitive intelligence, financial analysis, and profitability metrics.
  • Drive growth strategies, overseeing major initiatives and go-to market plan to meet business objectives.
  • Build competitive benchmarks and financial models to evaluate offer viability and support decisions.
  • Research and interpret mobility industry and market trends, identifying opportunities to expand or enhance the product portfolio.
  • Communicate product strategy and performance updates to leadership and key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and network capabilities, collaborating closely with internal partners to execute effectively.

Requirements:

  • Post secondary education in Business, project management, or a closely related field
  • 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development or Marketing
  • Highly collaborative leader with the skill sets required to influence, gain buy-in and evoke action in a cross functional team environment
  • Highly motivated to continuously improve products/processes and able to think out of box
  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking, interpersonal and communication skills
  • A keen business sense resulting from strong business and financial acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into a relevant, succinct and well-rounded business strategy to influence customer acquisition and retention decisions
  • Knowledge in the areas of strategic review & planning, product management/ development, customer base management, consumer/market research, competitive analysis, sales and financial planning
  • Proactive, detail oriented, positive and curious individual who has a passionate dedication to their craft
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and balancing multiple priorities/needs
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality work in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment
  • Strong price plan/package modelling skills with experience building complex subscriber and/or financial models
