Job Title: Collections Analyst
Location: Burlington, ON Fraser Dr. and Harvester Rd.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Annual Salary: $50,000 - $58,000/year (depending on experience)
Job Type: Permanent/Direct Hire, in-office role
We are hiring a Collections Analyst for a distribution facility in Burlington! Candidates must have 2+ years of B2B collections experience. We are looking for candidates with great communication skills and strong relationship building skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate records of collection activity and disputed accounts to support timely resolution.
- Review customer account portfolios and contact customers to arrange payment(s).
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to identify and resolve account issues.
- Using JD Edwards software to complete tasks.
- Manage credit holds by releasing daily orders on hold, addressing payment requirements, or coordinating credit limit increase requests.
- Prepare a monthly management report on branch issues and accounts on hold.
- Compile and organize documentation required to advance legal claims.
- Process and apply customer payments accurately.
- Prepare write-off documentation with detailed supporting notes.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and sales to identify and resolve issues preventing timely remittance.
- Understand and adhere to ISO policies and procedures.
- Pursue ongoing professional development by attending conferences and seminars, reviewing industry publications, and participating in professional networks.
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- College diploma in accounting preferred
- Experience using JD Edwards software preferred
- 2+ years of B2B collection experience required
- Strong communication, numeracy, and computer skills.
- Candidates must be willing to provide a criminal record check
