Job Title: Collections Analyst

Location: Burlington, ON Fraser Dr. and Harvester Rd.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Annual Salary: $50,000 - $58,000/year (depending on experience)

Job Type: Permanent/Direct Hire, in-office role

We are hiring a Collections Analyst for a distribution facility in Burlington! Candidates must have 2+ years of B2B collections experience. We are looking for candidates with great communication skills and strong relationship building skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain accurate records of collection activity and disputed accounts to support timely resolution.
• Review customer account portfolios and contact customers to arrange payment(s).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to identify and resolve account issues.
• Using JD Edwards software to complete tasks.
• Manage credit holds by releasing daily orders on hold, addressing payment requirements, or coordinating credit limit increase requests.
• Prepare a monthly management report on branch issues and accounts on hold.
• Compile and organize documentation required to advance legal claims.
• Process and apply customer payments accurately.
• Prepare write-off documentation with detailed supporting notes.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and sales to identify and resolve issues preventing timely remittance.
• Understand and adhere to ISO policies and procedures.
• Pursue ongoing professional development by attending conferences and seminars, reviewing industry publications, and participating in professional networks.
• Other duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements:

• High school diploma required
• College diploma in accounting preferred
• Experience using JD Edwards software preferred
• 2+ years of B2B collection experience required
• Strong communication, numeracy, and computer skills.
• Candidates must be willing to provide a criminal record check
