Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Support and Navigation, the Support and Navigation Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for all direct client services, virtual programs, and community initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. They will assist with program logistics, scheduling, record-keeping, reporting and supporting the evaluation of program activities. The successful candidate will embody a professional yet approachable demeanor and contribute meaningfully to a collaborative team environment at ASNB.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for direct client care services and virtual programming
  • Respond to inquiries from staff, clients, and volunteers related to client services and virtual programs
  • Coordinate ongoing registration, communications, and data entry for virtual programs
  • Schedule virtual programs and presentations using the Zoom for Healthcare platform, ensuring timely distribution of access links and program details
  • Provide administrative support for the delivery and expansion of the Tele-Counselling and Psychotherapy program
  • Assist in the development, review, and updating of materials for the Support and Navigation Department
  • Attend staff meetings, departmental meetings, and working groups, as required
  • Coordinate and support monthly department meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and distributing meeting summaries
  • Assist with the preparation of program reports and maintain accurate, current, and objective records
  • Travel as required

Qualifications:

  • A 2-yr diploma in health, social services field an/or education
  • Must be bilingual in French and English. Unilingual candidates will not be considered
  • Relevant administrative experience within a nonprofit, community services, or charitable environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior experience in the nonprofit or charitable sector is preferred
  • Must embody the vision and values of the ASNB
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Hands-on experience with database systems and tools
  • Proficient in Zoom and Microsoft programs
  • Sensitive to the impact of Alzheimer's disease on the individual and the family
  • Must be approachable, have solid communication skills and a warm positive attitude with active listening skills
  • Experience working with diverse communities and a commitment to equity and inclusion
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and Zoom
  • Possess a valid NB driver's license and be available to travel within the region
