Job Description:

TD Wealth Family Office is an exclusive team dedicated to addressing the complex needs of UHNW clients across the bank. As we expand our footprint, we are looking for an experienced and passionate professional who specializes in portfolio management for the UHNW market. The identified candidate will have a thorough understanding of the unique needs of UHNW clients and a proven track record of superior client service and relationship management.

Position Overview:

Senior Portfolio Manager- TD Wealth Family Office will be responsible for holistic portfolio and relationship management of UHNW clients. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Working under the leadership of Principal Investment Management to curate customized long term asset allocations utilizing the full depth of TD Wealth's investment management capabilities
  • Provide goals-based investment advice and portfolio construction based on product & solutions designed for UHNW investors, including traditional asset classes, alternative investments, and capital markets solutions.
  • Manage client relationships and portfolio implementation through a robust discovery process, Investment Policy Statement and ongoing Client Reviews
  • Gain a deep understanding of and manage relationships with TD's UHNW clients using the four pillars of TD Wealth effectively
  • Identify key issues and trends for UHNW families. Proactively leverage ideas, insights and relationships to enhance client experience
  • Proactively identify, introduce, and follow-up on opportunities in an inter disciplinary team setting
  • Play a key role in the strategic conception, ongoing development, and successful execution of the UHNW strategy and Family Office model
  • Carry out research and stay up to date on relevant investment, wealth management and financial planning trends

Job Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in client servicing, relationship management/business development with completed licensing requirements as a portfolio manager.

• Proven track record of successfully working with the complexity often found with UHNW clients

• Available knowledge on all asset classes and control discussion on various wealth topics •

• Confidence and strong personal credibility when establishing personal relationships and working with sophisticated clients and complex investment portfolios

• High attention to detail and the ability to uncover needs that are not articulated or clearly expressed by a client

• Experience working with UHNW clients within a bank or Family Office environment

• Ability to build strong COI relationship and build a broad network of external advisors

• Capable of working alongside existing external advisors/ Family Office personnel

• High achiever with entrepreneurial spirit - highly motivated individual who can develop and execute solutions from ambiguity

• Deep understanding of importance of discretion and need for confidentiality • Service oriented

Requirements: • CFA or CIM • CFP, CIWM an asset
