Switchboard Operator

Horizon Health Network is actively recruiting Switchboard Operators (Telecommunications Clerks) to join our team!

These opportunties are located at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. There are PERMANENT PART TIME and CASUAL positions available.

As a Switchboard Operator (Telecommunications Clerk), you are responsible for operating the switchboard and public address system in our hospitals. Specific duties include:

• Providing answering and messaging services
• Providing reception services and responding to inquiries
• Monitoring and responding to emergency codes
• Performing clerical duties

Who you are

• You possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You have written and spoken competence in English (Advanced).
• You have spoken competence in French (Intermediate Plus).
