The opportunity
In this role as a Senior Consultant, Strategic Alignment & Executive Team Effectiveness you will work with the top leadership teams across our most important and forward-thinking clients to help them steer their organizations through transformation. Supporting EY's core offerings Strategic Alignment and Executive Team Effectiveness, you will partner with both engagement teams and account teams. In collaboration with the engagement team, you will project manage and contribute to the design and delivery of executive workshops and help enable discussions and experiences that foster clarity, connection, and alignment. In your work with EY account teams, you will support the partners to deliver insightful briefings from the executive alignment work that support account growth.
Our methodology is grounded in a design thinking approach that helps clients identify and activate the conditions for effective teaming, including executive alignment, executive team design and decision-making.
Your key responsibilities:
In your role as the Senior Consultant, Strategic Alignment & Executive Team Effectiveness, you will be supporting growth through the Business Development Lifecycle (30%) and Client Delivery Lifecycle (70%). Your responsibilities will be:
- Work collaboratively with account teams and leadership as they translate the needs of the client into executive transformation infrastructure, enterprise alignment and executive team effectiveness solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong client and cross-functional account team relationships to support seamless execution, identify risks and opportunities for additional services.
- Coordinate and participate in the process of creating materials for our workshops and executive teaming sessions.
- Provide meeting coordination support for our workshops and executive teaming sessions which will include: session logistics, communications, facilitation support such as white boarding, minute taking and other event requirements.
- Help to distill relevant insights from client discovery phase / workshops and support the creation of briefings for EY account teams to support account growth.
- Conduct research and analysis to support the development of insights, recommendations and go-to-market materials.
As you grow in the role, you will assist in designing and our workshops and executive teaming sessions:
- Identify and bring internal and/or external thought leaders, case studies and examples to share new perspectives.
- Co-facilitate leadership development activities, ideation and prioritization sessions to draw out innovative, client-centric, value-generating results
- Leverage your creative ingenuity and our digital collaboration technologies to create exceptional and unique immersive experiences with our clients
Skills and attributes for success:
- Strong organizational experience to lead and manage project teams and participate in the creation of executive level workshops
- Interest in delivering differentiating client experiences, leveraging leadership research and innovative approaches to tackle complex leadership challenges and drive alignment towards insightful solutions
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, integrate into new teams and rapidly establish credibility with clients
- Be well versed in enterprise applications transformation work as well as the impact of AI on our clients' business landscape
- Demonstrate commitment to creating exceptional and high-quality outcomes that bring new value to our clients
- Demonstrate commitment to account growth, including following up on opportunities to support clients through various EY services
What we look for
- 3+ years of experience in any of the following areas: IT consulting, business consulting, project coordination, marketing, business development, or talent development
- A track record of strong project management skills i.e. delivery focused / detail oriented
- Experience working with executives and managing a complex network of stakeholders
- Strong communication experience, working with different levels of an organization, both internally and externally
- Experience creating and executing all phases of meetings, events or learning activities (room booking, catering, AV setup, invitations, guest list/roster communications)
- The ability to travel as needed to client locations across Canada

Ideally, you'll also have:
- Expertise in design thinking tools and methods
- Familiarity with AI and other trends affecting the business landscape, organizational culture and key issues / opportunities facing major industries
- This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and professionals nationally and globally. Professional competency in the English language is therefore a requirement of this role. Bilingualism in both French and English is considered an asset.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
- Toronto: $88,000 to $132,000
