Job Title: Red Seal Carpenter

Location: Moncton, NB

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Wage: $20.00/hour - $23.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and codes; perform layout and material calculations.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, floors, walls, roofs, trim, doors, and windows.
• Renovate, repair, and maintain structural components; inspect work and document findings.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools, equipment, scaffolding, and lifting devices.
• Mentor apprentices and support crew coordination on site.
• Promote and enforce workplace safety, use PPE, and perform jobsite hazard assessments.

Qualifications:

• Valid Red Seal Carpentry certification.
• Completion of a 3-4 year apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with blueprints, building codes, and construction math (metric/imperial).
• Skilled in hand and power tool operation and related equipment.
• Strong physical fitness: able to lift (~50 lb), work at heights, and adapt to varied environments.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license for travel to multiple job sites.
