What Is The Opportunity?
A Senior Business Systems Analyst Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the business systems analysis function within an organization. This role involves managing a team of business systems analysts, ensuring the alignment of business needs with technical solutions, and driving strategic initiatives to improve processes and systems. The position requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to deliver value to the organization.

What Will You Do?

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business systems analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training or upskilling opportunities.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define the business systems analysis strategy and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Oversee the end-to-end business systems analysis process, ensuring that requirements are accurately gathered, documented, and communicated.

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.

  • Evaluate and implement tools, methodologies, and promote the adoption of emerging technologies and innovative solutions to address business challenges.

  • Support organizational change initiatives by ensuring that business systems analysis activities align with change management strategies.

  • Manage the budget for the business systems analysis function, ensuring efficient use of resources, plan and allocate resources to meet the demands of ongoing and upcoming projects.

What Do You Need To Succeed?
Must have:

  • Strong ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team of business systems analysts.

  • Ability to align business systems analysis activities with organizational goals and strategies.

  • In-depth knowledge of business systems analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.

  • Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice-to-have:

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute, Professional in Business Analysis (PMI – PBA) Certification

  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and experience with Business Process Management (BPM) Tools

  • 3+ Years of Insurance or Financial industry experience

  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
