What is the opportunity?
RBC Economics is a team of highly experienced and respected economists, who specialize in analyzing macroeconomic data, identifying key trends, and delivering differentiated insights that helps consumers, businesses, and investors around the globe navigate complex economic landscapes. We provide timely data updates, expert commentary, and thematic reports on growth and inflation, fiscal trends, housing markets, international trade, and monetary policies.
Support the team in publishing all of its multimedia content and reports to the RBC Economics' website through a content management system and across their email distribution lists using Salesforce. Provide graphic design, video editing and social media support for team related content, and for the development of the team's presentations.
Support the execution of the team's LinkedIn account and other social media accounts as they are adopted by the group, along with the responsibility for managing of RBC Economics' website in English and French.
What will you do?
Web content production
Create web pages using WordPress for each piece of content and report being published on the RBC Economics website in English and French, and handle placement on the homepage.
Manage the website's homepage, curation, organization and ongoing development under guidance.
Help collect data on the website's performance via measurement tools.
Email communications
Develop email alerts specific to each publication to send to subscriber distribution lists.
Distribute the emails via Salesforce.
Manage the RBC Economics email distribution lists.
Graphic design
Develop charts, graphs and infographics to support specific reports or videos being published.
Assist economists with ongoing design and layout of their PowerPoint presentations.
Create graphics and video for social media posts.
Social media
Support the execution of social media posts via LinkedIn.
Work with the head of editorial on content promotion on social media.
Help in collecting data on social media performance.
What you need to succeed?
Must-have:
A minimum of three years' experience is required.
A background in web publishing, graphic design, video editing, email and web communications.
Knowledge of WordPress or other content management systems, basic HTML, Salesforce, Everviz, PowerPoint.
Expertise in Adobe CC design software.
Knowledge of social media best practices and LinkedIn.
Experience in website design and layout.
Fluency in French considered an asset.
Nice-to-have
Undergraduate or college degree in graphics design or communications.
