There are four (4) $2500, non-renewable awards available to Mi'kmaq students entering any year of a full time post-secondary education program. Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in the areas of Power Engineering, Power Line Technician, Instrumentation Tech, Engineering, Technology, Business, Marketing & Communications, Environmental Sciences or Law. Recipients may have the opportunity to participate in a 12-week paid internship at Nova Scotia Power during their term of study. Recipients will be notified to apply for opportunities.

Past recipients are eligible to re-apply each year for up to four (4) years while still enrolled in a college or undergraduate university program.
