The Senior Manager, Global TPRM Reporting & Insights plays a critical role in advancing the effectiveness of the Global 2nd Line TPRM program by leading the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise third party risk reporting. The incumbent is accountable for producing insightful, risk sensitive reporting that drives sound decision making, enhances transparency, and provides a consistent and defensible effective challenge function across the Bank. This role ensures that reporting practices align with regulatory expectations, risk appetite, and emerging risk themes, while cultivating strong partnerships with cross functional stakeholders to support a cohesive, informed, and forward looking approach to Third Party Risk Management.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and continuous enhancement of Global TPRM reporting strategy, ensuring reporting insights effectively challenge first line activities and strengthen enterprise wide risk management.
- Conduct strategic and process analysis to identify reporting gaps, issues, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to improve the TPRM reporting
- Benchmark regulatory expectations and industry best practices to ensure TPRM reporting remains forward looking, risk sensitive, and aligned with emerging trends.
- Ensure TPRM reporting reflects the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture, including timely escalation of material third party risks, control weaknesses, or emerging themes.
- Maintain awareness of new and evolving regulations related to third party risk, assessing reporting implications and ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.
- Support responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, and examinations by preparing clear, accurate TPRM reporting artifacts and partnering with functional teams as required.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance TPRM reporting methodologies, procedures, and rationales to ensure consistency, defensibility, and compliance with internal frameworks.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive TPRM reports to senior management, governance committees, and regulatory stakeholders, ensuring clarity, insight, and accuracy.
- Build strong partnerships with Sourcing, Operational Risk, and business lines to ensure TPRM reporting is informed, integrated, and effective.
- Engage regulatory stakeholders as required, presenting TPRM metrics and insights in a manner that reflects sound judgment, transparency, and preparedness.
- Champion continuous improvement across TPRM reporting processes, identifying inefficiencies, data quality concerns, or control gaps and driving timely resolution.

- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have experience with:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent or other Graduate Program in related discipline would be an asset.
- 6+ years proven risk management experience in Financial Services industry
- Advanced understanding of Power BI, SQL and another tool is preferred
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively communicate with senior/executive management.
- Demonstrated technical understanding of pertinent business areas
- Sound judgment, learning agility, and a high level of professional and personal integrity
