Sheet Metal Machine Operator with Forklift

Location: Brampton, ON

Wage: $23.00 - $25.00/hr

Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Shifts Available: Monday to Friday

We're currently building our forklift operator candidate pool and are looking to connect with skilled, safety-focused operators for upcoming opportunities. The ideal person will have previous machining or CNC punch press experience and experience operating a forklift. This would be a great opportunity to gain new skills and grow with an established sheet metal company.

Job Duties:

• Operate machine to bend metal structural shapes
• Read drawings with attention to detail
• Cut or strip metals according to length and orders using power tools
• Safely operate electric counterbalance when required
• Load and offload raw sheet metal and/or finished goods
• Assist in other departments as required

Job Requirements:

• Ability to read blueprints and use calipers
• Valid forklift certification
• Minimum 1-year previous experience in a similar type of role
• Open to learning new CNC machine skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
