Document Control - Administrative Support Representative (ASR III)
One (1) Regular position
Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
Competition # E22222-2026

The Mactaquac Generating Station began generating electricity in 1968. Since the 1980s, concrete portions of the hydro station have been affected by a chemical reaction called alkali-aggregate reaction. The reaction causes the concrete to swell and crack and has required substantial annual maintenance and repairs. NB Power is proposing a project to ensure the station can operate to its intended 100-year lifespan with a modified approach to maintenance and adjusting and replacing equipment and concrete overtime.
As part of the Mactaquac Life Achievement Project (MLAP), Administrative Support Representative (ASR III) - Document Control will be responsible for the timely, accurate, and efficient preparation and management of documents generated by NB Power, consultants, and contractors. This role supports the full document lifecycle within the project, ensuring consistency, compliance, and accessibility.

- Develop and enhance document management (DM) systems and processes, ensuring effective workflow design and implementation across teams.
- Coordinate and oversee document control activities, including quality checks, timely follow-ups, and resolution of issues to maintain data integrity and compliance.

- High School Diploma or post-secondary education in document management, records administration, or a related field.
- One year of relevant experience in document control, including designing workflows to enhance the efficiency of document management processes.
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS); preference will be given to candidates with experience using Bentley ProjectWise.
- Proficient computer skills, including the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint).
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.
