As an Emergency Roadside Service (ERS) Technician, you'll be the reassuring face of CAA Atlantic on the roadside, delivering trusted towing and roadside assistance with professionalism, safety, and care. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a real difference - whether you're rescuing a Member with a flat tire, towing a vehicle to a repair shop, delivering fuel on a rainy night, or boosting a battery during a winter storm. We do all that and more for our Members!

In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you'll take pride in providing safe and efficient towing services while performing a wide range of roadside support, from lockouts to tire repairs and battery installations. You'll use your mechanical know-how and problem-solving skills to assess situations quickly and get Members back on their way - all while communicating clearly and courteously with Members and Dispatchers to ensure timely, dependable service.

We're looking for safety-minded, reliable team players who thrive in dynamic environments and take ownership of their work. Flexibility is key - our Members count on us around the clock, and you'll be ready to assist during evenings, weekends, and holidays when help matters most. If you're known for your positive spirit, calm under pressure, and dedication to excellent service, you'll fit right in with our trusted team of ERS Technicians at CAA Atlantic.

This position is commencing immediately and follows a shift rotation schedule: 4 days on followed by 4 days off, 12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and efficient towing services for Members.
  • Deliver roadside assistance such as lockout service, tire changes and repairs, fuel delivery, and battery boosts.
  • Support battery testing, sales, and installation for CAA Atlantic Battery Service Program.
  • Communicate clearly and courteously with Members and Dispatchers to ensure timely service.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean and reliable working condition.
  • Follow all safety, traffic, and company operating procedures.
Qualifications
  • Air Brake Endorsement (required) and a valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with vehicles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, even under pressure.
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.
