Material Handler

Title: Material Handler

Location: Brampton, ON

Wage: $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm

Shifts available: Monday - Friday

We are looking to add Forklift operators for future openings for our customer who specializes in the distribution of food grade product.

Located in Brampton Ontario, our client specializes in manufacturing precision parts for a wide range of application areas in the automotive sectors which include motors, fuel injection, transmissions, steering, camshafts, brakes, sensors and chassis.

Job Duties:

• Follow all company safety rules

• Off-load raw material from supplier truck

• Put away raw material into location

• Complete material movement transactions in BAAN

• Transport document to relevant department

• Load raw material onto primary machine to ensure no down time

• Operate briquetter/pucker machines

• Weigh and dump pucks for pick up

• Keep area clean

Job Requirements:

• Forklift License - counterbalance / Raymond reach

• Minimum high school diploma

• Basic math/computer skills

• Good verbal and written communication skill (English)

• Capable to troubleshoot basic machine problems

• Forklift License - counterbalance / Raymond reach

Physical Aspects:

• Standing/ walking (Emptying chip bins & loading machines)

• Lifting (Taking samples of raw material for Quality department & strapping raw material to return to inventory)

• Repetitive Tasks
