What's the opportunity?
We are seeking an enthusiastic, results oriented, strategic leader to oversee two indirect lending businesses: Auto Finance and PayPlan, both of which include B2B marketing to Auto Dealers, Auto Manufacturers, and Retail Merchants, as well as Consumer marketing to drive loan acquisition, client growth and retention.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven marketer who is passionate about leveraging data and consumer insights in impactful ways to drive measurable business outcomes. You will lead end-to-end marketing across a broad roster of mass, targeted and owned channels, and uncover net-new opportunities to propel Client Acquisition, Engagement and Growth.
Working closely with the Director, Marketing, and supported by a highly skilled Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing best-in-class marketing campaigns, and for ongoing campaign performance reporting and optimization recommendations. Additionally, you will interact directly with PayPlan Merchants and Partner OEMs (Auto Manufacturers) to co-create successful marketing programs.

What will you do?
- Inspire, coach, and grow individual talent, and foster an inclusive and safe-to-speak-up culture across the broader team.
- Collaborate with Line of Business and Cross-functional partners, to deliver robust annual plans, and go-to-market strategies, that drive acquisition and client engagement and growth to achieve business OKRs.
- Fuel integration across cross-functional partners, SMEs, and stakeholders, collectively developing and executing upon key business priorities.
- Develop and present briefs, strategic frameworks, recommendations, and tactical plans, and lead best-in-class campaign execution across owned and paid channels.
- Seek out new growth opportunities through proactive integration with other LOB and Segment teams.
- Manage marketing budget efficiently, focusing on transparency, efficiency, and flexibility to make the most of market opportunities.
- Be an ambassador of the marketing operating model, fostering an insight- and data-driven approach to prioritizing opportunities with the biggest impact, and optimizing resource capacity.
- Build a strong working relationship with an extensive network of internal partners and leverage your ability to impact and influence partnerships across the Bank.
- Monitor and report on marketing results and optimize campaigns to maximize business results.
- Create and nurture important relationships with internal and external partners.
- Keep a keen eye to process to drive efficiencies and excellence across all stages.
- Play a key role in the development and execution of sponsorship activations and events, working collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop differentiated experiences at auto shows (B2C) and trade shows (B2B).
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
- 7+ years marketing experience, with demonstrated ability to think strategically.
- Demonstrated capability to lead and motivate lateral and horizontal teams in a matrix organization, to deliver successful results and drive positive culture.
- Analytical, detail-oriented nature with experience using numbers to deliver marketing insights and action.
- Deep understanding of direct marketing, digital marketing, business to business marketing and events/sponsorship.
- Experience planning, executing, and reporting on, marketing solutions that deliver ROI-centric results; ability to map out test and learn strategies to optimize targeted marketing campaigns.
- Strong ability to work in a collaborative, supportive way across the organization.
- Proven project management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, as well as confidently and effectively lead a project team through timelines, prioritization, budget management and collaboration.
- Ability to influence peers and partners through collaborative, transparent socialization, to secure alignment on our vision and recommendations.
- Ability to think strategically and execute with excellence; must be an enthusiastic, well-organized self-starter, able to use initiative and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to lead multi-stakeholder groups to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
- A growth mindset and a strong track record of insight-led marketing in a culture that values a collaborative approach.
Nice to have:
- FI experience an asset and/or experience in large matrix organizations.
- Understanding of how to support a career sales force, and centers of influence.
- Auto Industry or Retail experience.
- University degree - undergraduate and/or MBA - in marketing or other related field
- Mass marketing experience.
