Machine Operator

General Labor

Location: Brampton, ON

Wage: $20.00 /hr

Shift: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Shifts available: Monday to Friday

We're expanding our candidate pool and seeking dependable General Labourers interested in future assignments with our clients in Brampton. Our customer specializes in the production and fine precision grinding of industrial bandsaws. Located near McLaughlin and Sandalwood, this is an ideal role for someone looking to work in a small family environment.

Job Duties:

• Use of Flash-butt welder machine
• Use of various hand-held tools
• Grinding of finish welds using hand-held and machine grinders
• Light machine operation (vacuum machine)
• Packaging of finished product

Job Requirements:

• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written, required
• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Manufacturing background required
• Being able to lift up to 50 lbs due to flat metal products
• Ability to read purchase orders to cut metal to length
• Ability to use handheld or stationary grinder to grind down the weld connection
