Assumption Life is looking for a qualified Investment Sales Advisor to join its Sales and Marketing team.

This person must be skilled at building strong business relationships with a strong customer focus. This person plays an essential role in the business line's results in the regions assigned to them, working closely with the Quebec Business Development Directors.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets
  • Learn and master the details of our product and service offering
  • Understand the needs, issues and/or desires of our distributors and communicate opportunities for improvement internally.
  • In collaboration with the team, proactively communicate with advisors to inform them about Assumption Life's various products.
  • Inside sales support
  • Onboarding process for all new brokers.
  • Facilitate training sessions on our range of investment products.
  • Provide portfolio performance comparisons and present our fund offering to advisors as required.
  • Occasionally attend external events in collaboration with business development managers, such as MGA seminars and promotional/training events organized by Assumption Life.

Qualifications
  • College or university degree in business administration or related field
  • 5 years experience in the financial services or investements.
  • 3 years of experience in sales (internal or external) of investement products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
  • Sales, negotiation and networking skills
  • Creativity to identify new opportunities and establish rapid growth
  • Hold a life and health insurance license.
  • In-depth knowledge of the investment environment and the ability to compare investment portfolios using tools such as CapIntel.
  • Knowledge of the brokerage market and MGAs is an important asset.
