Senior Manager, Production

Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a strategic and visible leader for our Churchill Falls Operations Team as Senior Manager, CF Production. This role is accountable for leading the Production and Transmission teams at Churchill Falls and ensuring the safe, reliable, efficient operation and maintenance of the Churchill Falls Power Plant and associated transmission assets. The successful candidate will interface regularly with Hydro-Québec, support long-term strategic planning for the facility, and ensure effective and safe execution of operational priorities, including capital programs such as the Churchill Falls Long-Term Asset Management Plan (LTAMP). The Senior Manager will foster a collaborative, inclusive and high performance culture in a unionized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visible leadership that promotes safety, environmental stewardship, and organizational values for their accountable departments.
- Lead the operation and maintenance of the Churchill Falls generating station and associated lines, stations, and supporting infrastructure.
- Oversee water control and spillway structures, dykes and dams, hydrological stations, and related systems.
- Lead and support the planning and execution of maintenance programs and capital projects, including the CF LTAMP.
- Monitor asset performance and ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and compliance.
- Foster positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external partners and customers.
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for assigned units.

What You'll Need:
- Leadership experience in a large hydroelectric operating environment.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems, protection and control, hydro mechanical systems and/or large-scale utility operations is an advantage.
- Proven ability to lead diverse technical teams in complex maintenance and operations unionized environment.
- A degree in Engineering from a recognized institution with a minimum of eight (8) years' experience as a Professional Engineer, including five (5) years in a senior leadership role.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
