SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent reports to the Director of Professional Services. They plan, organize, direct, coordinate and monitor Physiotherapy and Social Work activities, to ensure that patients, employees and visitors receive quality services in accordance with professional standards, Vitalité Health Network policies and procedures, and accreditation standards. The activities of these departments include quality improvement, human and financial resource management, performance management, statistics development, continuing education, patient and staff safety, and research. The incumbent must adhere to the mission, vision and values of Vitalité Health Network. They must also collaborate on various projects and participate in regional committees for the professions concerned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in the health field, preferably in a discipline related to the supervisory responsibilities of the position;
  • Member of a professional association in the health care sector, preferably a discipline related to the supervisory responsibilities of the position (considered an asset);
  • Minimum of five years' clinical experience;
  • Minimum of three years' recent management experience;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and high degree of autonomy;
  • Participatory management approach and positive attitude;
  • Ability to delegate responsibility and ensure follow-up;
  • Planning, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills;
  • Skills in budget planning and analysis, strategic planning, problem analysis and resolution, and information management;
  • Excellent leadership, sound judgment, initiative, creativity and ability to adhere to, engage in, and manage change;
  • Flexibility with regard to working hours;
  • Good knowledge of and ability to use computer tools and office automation applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Meditech, Outlook, collaboration sites, etc.);
  • Sincere desire to improve one's professional knowledge and skills and ability to stimulate professional interest within a team;
  • Knowledge of the code of ethics of the professions related to the position;
  • Interpersonal skills that foster a welcoming environment, client care and effective communication;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, Vitalité Health Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
