Position: Part-Time Security Guard

Site: Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), 6100 Leslie St, North York, ON M2H 3J1

Hours: Friday and Saturday (2300 - 1100)

Payrate: $18.40

Overtime: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Internal Posting Date: December 3, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

·Be able to comprehend and demonstrate competencies of CMCC and the Security policies and procedures with an ability to use a customer service approach

·Assist visitors, and employee during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as needed

·Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly

·Enthusiastically conducts proactive patrols (exterior and Interior), and be able to address policy breeches, and note facility concerns.

·Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner as not to create a panic amongst the public

·Ability to de-escalate a crisis, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including; police, fire and paramedic resources.

·Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries

·Ability to provide first aid and medical response when required to any person

·Maintain positive and constructive relationships with The Client's staff and external clients by providing timely and accurate support as required.

·Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Security Leadership team and respond to the directions of the client

·Performing other related duties as assigned

Prerequisites:

·Valid Security License for the province of Ontario

·Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider

·English (oral and written) fluency is a must

·1 Year of experience in security is required

·Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)

·Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
