Job Title: PSW - Personal Support Worker

Job Type: Part Time, Full Time

Location: Glenburnie, ON

Shift/Hours: Various shifts

Pay Rate: $27.13/hr

PSWs will follow the in-charge nurse or supervisor instructions on what is required. Responsibilities may include helping residents with bedside and personal care, companionship, escorting to appointments, housekeeping duties, and aiding with bathing and grooming. Other responsibilities may be assigned to assist the residents and their needs.

Job Description:

• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning.
• Provide personal care.
• Provide companionship.
• Care for individuals and families.
• Administer bedside and personal care.
• Feed or assist in feeding.
• Assist clients with mobility aids.
• Aid clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• Complete documentation as required by the company or Ministry of Health.

Requirements:

• PSW Diploma/Certificate
• International Nursing Certificates are welcome to apply.
• TB Skin Test Clearance (dated within 1 year of application).
• CPR First Aid Certificate (must be current and valid).
• Police Background Check (dated within 1 year of application).
• Weekend availability is a must.
