HR Systems and Data Analyst – 12 Month Contract

Job Summary:

This 12-month term opportunity for an HR Systems and Data Analyst will work across HR and Safety systems, and Data & Analytics, taking responsibility for the day-to-day administration, customer support, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's Performance and Learning Management System (LMS). This role offers broad development opportunities in HR and/or analytics while positively impacting several business areas, notably supporting our Learning team as they manage comprehensive learning programs that enhance employee skills, performance and career growth. Additional responsibilities will include data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives across HR, Safety, and other business areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities will include:

HR System Support

  • Provide customer support, administer and maintain the corporate performance and learning management system (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Cornerstone)
  • Troubleshoot system and user issues and coordinate with IT for resolution; respond to help desk tickets
  • Support the configuration and testing of new features, upgrades, and integrations in a cloud-based system
  • Upload, test, and troubleshoot eLearning content (SCORM, videos, etc.)
  • Build and deploy performance review forms annually through system
  • Provide technical support to system users learners, instructors, and internal stakeholders
  • Review reporting processes and its results to ensure value and customer satisfaction
  • Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve while creating efficiencies
  • Participate in testing and support deployment to our end users

Data Management and Analytics

  • Generate and analyze reports on HR data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in learning and development programs and processes.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track learning and development metrics (e.g., completion rates, engagement, compliance).
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance with privacy and security standards.
  • Work on cross-functional reporting and analytics projects including HR, Safety and other areas as required.

What skills will make you successful?

You recognize yourself in most of the following competencies, and where possible possess the skills and experience listed below:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience: Suitable experience could come from a combination of different areas including: HR system administration, data analytics and business reporting, business analysis, system support, project management and customer service.
  • Experience administering HR digital platforms and ticketing systems (e.g. Learning Management Systems, Service Now) would be an asset
  • Ability to effectively communicate results of analysis and insights to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience with data tools will be advantageous (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Python etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma; Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Business or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
