Driver Helper

Job Title: Driver Helper
Location: Kingston, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday
Wage: $20.00 per hour

Our customer in the Kingston area is looking for an energetic and reliable Driver Helper to support local waste collection routes. This role involves working alongside a D-class driver, assisting with residential waste pickup, and ensuring a safe and positive experience for residents.

Job Description:

• Work with a driver on a rear-loader truck during residential waste collection
• Assist with picking up and loading household garbage in the Kingston and surrounding areas
• Lift and handle waste bags and materials throughout the shift
• Maintain clear communication with the driver
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Stay alert and aware of surroundings to ensure safety at all times

Qualifications:

• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to good attendance
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• CSA-approved work boots are required
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
