Customer Service Specialist

PAL Airlines is currently seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team in St. John's, NL.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide to passengers and airport locations, accurate information regarding flight interruptions, delays, and cancellations.
• Rebook and reroute affected passengers to their destination, ensuring minimal inconvenience and delay.
• provides updates to passengers on the status of their flight and assist with alternative arrangements.
• Monitor and manage flight disruptions, make real-time decisions to minimize passenger impact, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of passenger's information, flight disruptions, and customer interactions
• communicate effectively with other departments and teams, including operations, reservations, and airport staff.
• Continuously improve customer service processes and procedures to enhance the overall passenger experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in customer service.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and travel as required.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing and managing tight deadlines.
• Possess a high level of professionalism and dedication to customer service excellence.
• Proven ability to build good working relationships with internal and external clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
