Overtime Method: | Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
Payrate: | $22.61/hour

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional, visible, and alert security presence
- Greet, assist, and direct visitors and staff
- Ensure the safety and security of clients, property, and assets
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Conduct patrols (interior/exterior), monitor CCTV, and enforce site policies/by-laws
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms; de-escalate and provide assistance as required
- Complete accurate documentation, reports, and investigations
- Perform patient watches and access/key control duties
- Carry out monthly safety inspections and report hazards/deficiencies
- Support other security tasks and duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
- Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
- A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)

- Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.
- Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
- Minimum 6 months healthcare security experience preferred
- Minimum 6 months of non-healthcare security experience preferred
- Must be able to commit to full-time availability for no less than 6 months
- English proficiency (oral & written) is required
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset
- 6+ months of customer service experience is considered an asset
- Must be able to provide certifications in Stay Safe
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's Stay Safe certification program prior to their onboarding certification to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The Stay Safe certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all the costs of the certification with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
