JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent will report to the Regional Director of Research and the Manager of Research and Health Evaluation. They will support research and evaluation activities related to clinical learning units or any other Vitalité Health Network initiative by collaborating with the Leadership Team, directors and other health care professionals.
The person will contribute to the development of evaluation plans, logic models, data collection tools, evaluation reports and recommendations. They must be able to analyze statistical data as well as the results of evaluations and research projects. They must also be able to manage initiatives and projects. They will also contribute to the development of sector-related processes and policies and collaborate with management, as needed, on the development of major organizational research initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master of science, nursing, health sciences, public health or a related discipline;
- At least five years' experience in research and research evaluation or in program evaluation;
- Experience in preparation, analysis and drafting of progress reports as well as project management (considered an asset);
- Experience in organizational research, within an academic setting, research institution or hospital environment (considered an asset);
- Strong analytical and organizational skills;
- Scientific rigour;
- Understanding of scientific method and research;
- Ability to process and analyze data;
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
- Tact and discretion;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Ingenuity (proactive behaviour);
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in French and good knowledge of English;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team;
