Who we are
The Regional Development Corporation (RDC) is a Crown Corporation that works in partnership for strategic investments in New Brunswick communities with its programs and services, and through collaborative approaches and cross-sector partnerships.
In response to increasing demand and investment opportunities, RDC is seeking a dynamic, client-focused, and teamwork-oriented professional to fill the position of Project Executive in the Southeast Region of New Brunswick.
What you will do
Project Executives at RDC continuously demonstrate superior leadership, communication, and network building skills as they entertain a wide range of work relationships to effectively and proactively identify development opportunities and gaps in their assigned region.
With a comprehensive knowledge of sound development principles and practice, and with strategic and innovative thinking, Project Executives align resources, such as funding options, with projects and initiatives that are meeting both provincial and regional development goals and priorities.
Reporting to the Director of Development, Project Executives must be able to work autonomously from, and travel within, their assigned region. Their responsibilities are, but are not limited to, the following:
- Having in-depth, comprehensive knowledge of their region.
Developing and maintaining strong work relationships with Regional Service Commissions, New Brunswick municipalities, not for profit organizations, stakeholders and various provincial and federal departments and agencies;
- Evaluating and assessing funding applications;
- Developing networks and leveraging relationships in order to initiate development opportunities, to support projects, or to address development gaps within their assigned region;
- Traveling throughout the province meeting with key partners and stakeholders on priority development projects and facilitating access to funding solutions;
- Preparing briefing material and advice.
The successful candidate will be joining a team of driven professionals aiming to achieve organizational outcomes and to deliver outstanding value-added services to their clients and New Brunswick's communities.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A university degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, or other related discipline and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience in:
- Community development;
- Stakeholder engagement;
- Strategic planning;
- Evaluation of grant funding requests;
- Program delivery.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in French and English is required. Please state your language capability on your application.

Travel across the province will be required.
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that have:
- Experience in facilitating collaboration and leading working groups / interdepartmental committees on files/initiatives.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office software.
- Experience in machinery and process of government.
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications to be given further consideration.

Salary: $2,991 to $3,979 bi-weekly
