Summary

Are you energized by uncovering patterns, challenging assumptions, and driving performance through data? We're looking for a Senior Consultant, Sales Optimization to be a strategic force behind our sales organization—someone who can bring clarity to complexity, spotlight opportunity, and help us operate with precision and purpose.

This role is not just about analyzing sales results—it's about shaping the story, managing outliers, and enabling our teams to focus on what matters most. You'll be a trusted partner in both the day-to-day rhythm of the business and in strategic initiatives that elevate our effectiveness across regions, channels, and teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead weekly sales performance reviews, identifying trends and anomalies across regions, channels, and sub-regions.
  • Manage outliers—both positive and negative—to understand root causes and guide corrective or scaling actions.
  • Highlight high-opportunity stores and areas for growth, helping Sales Directors focus their efforts for maximum impact.
  • Maintain a real-time view of the offer landscape—where we're advantaged, where we're not, and how we compare across internal teams and competitors.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to optimize offer deployment, market positioning, and sales prioritization.
  • Help organize and align our efforts from an offer and impact perspective, ensuring clarity and focus across the organization.
  • Streamline reporting and insights to support smooth day-to-day execution.
  • Build tools, trackers, and dashboards that keep teams aligned and informed.
  • Drive process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce friction in decision-making.
  • Partner with Sales, BI, Marketing, and other teams to gather inputs and drive initiatives forward.
  • Create compelling decks and presentations that influence decision-making and drive alignment across functions.
  • Pull and manipulate data using MicroStrategy and SAS; interpret BI dashboards and metrics with confidence.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
  • Act as a thought partner to the Director, Retail Marketing & Account Management —bringing ideas, challenging assumptions, and driving change.
  • Take ownership of strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and impact.
Critical Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or strategic insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in MicroStrategy, SAS, Excel, and BI tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a strategic mindset and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to influence through data.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
  • A passion for questioning the status quo and driving continuous improvement.
