DEPARTMENT: Youth Treatment Center - Administration
BARGAINING UNIT: Management and Non-Bargaining
JOB TYPE: Permanent full-time
SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

JOB SUMMARY :
Reporting to their immediate supervisor, the manager plans, coordinates and oversees programs and activities to provide youth on the unit(s) with high-quality services that meet their needs and ensures optimal delivery of such services by unit staff. They see to planning and implementation of clinical and administrative policies and procedures related to the delivery of care to youth on the unit(s). They also manage the human, physical, financial and information resources under their responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor in health sciences;
- Master's degree in health sciences, management or any other related discipline considered an asset;
- Registered with the professional association;
- Familiar with the Mental Health Act and Child and Youth Well-Being Act
- Minimum of five years' experience in mental health;
- Experience working with youth considered an asset;
- Management, supervision or coordination experience considered an asset
- Client focused management;
- Trauma-informed care knowledge;
- Ability to work in collaboration with internal and/or external agencies, as well as with families;
- Inspirational leadership;
- Management focused on results and quality;
- Demonstrated time-management and problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including interpersonal and group communication skills;
- Initiative and sound judgment;
- Ability to act as a change facilitator;
- Innovative and creative;
- Ability to integrate and share with their team the values and principles inherent to the recovery process;
- Ability to teach and transmit knowledge to others;
- Obvious interest in the professional development required for the position;
- Ability to work independently and within a team;
- Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);
