Machine Operator - Wire Cutter

Location: Brampton, ON

Wage: $21.00/hr

Shift: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm or 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Shifts Available: Monday to Friday

Location: Williams Pkwy and Torbram

We are hiring for a hardworking and punctual warehouse associate who can work for a reputable company that specializes in wire and cable distribution. This position is responsible for cutting industrial-sized wires to specific lengths along with some warehouse packaging duties.

Job Duties:

• Process wire cut orders for shipment.
• Follow correct cutting procedures, complete required paperwork, and verify the order matches the requirements.
• Work on adjustable cutting machines to ensure lengths are being cut accurately.
• Monitor and track inventory as per company procedures.
• Inspect wire cutting machine and tools for safe use.

Job Requirements:

• Good multi-tasker with the ability to work to and meet deadlines.
• Must be comfortable using hand tools.
• Highly organized, with attention to detail and exceptional time management.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Willing to lift and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Previous experience in a labour role is an asset.
• Willing to perform additional warehouse duties as required.
