Job Description Summary:
The Product Manager, Direct Investing Journey Insights, serves all Product Group Owners across TD Easy Trade, TD Direct Investing, and TD Active Trader by turning data and analytics into compelling narratives, influencing decisions to improve customer experience.
They lead the discussion of overall Journey Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), analyze performance to provide product recommendations, and participate as a subject matter expert in agile ceremonies.
They also partner with Product Owners to support key growth initiatives with deep-dive analyses, focusing on the adoption of digital features.
They integrate all the analytical needs of the Journey and own the long-term Data Roadmap – acting as the one point of contact for the entire DI Journey with all of TD Enterprise data teams and related IT services (integrating both existing and new data technologies).
Accountabilities
Measurement and Performance Tracking:
• Target Setting & Reporting: Define, socialize, and set targets for the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for DI Journey, providing regular, transparent performance updates to senior leadership and product stakeholders.
• Standardized Reporting: Develop standardized dashboards and reporting mechanisms to ensure data integrity and provide a single source of truth for ongoing performance reporting.
Impact and Prioritization:
• Prioritization Support: Lead the development of business cases and key result impact assessments to estimate the implications of new product features and initiatives, informing the prioritization of the roadmap.
• Post Implementation Reporting: Build robust reporting to measure feature impact, identify pain points and lead iteration strategy.
Strategic Research and Insights:
• Deep Research: Proactively conduct deep-dive analyses into client behavior, platform usage, and competitors to identify opportunities, pain points and underlying drivers of business performance.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with data science teams, business insight teams, and other data partners across the enterprise to execute complex research projects that require specialized data models, software, or methodologies.
• Research Synthesis: Analyze and synthesize findings from internal or external research, competitive intelligence reports, and industry trends, translating these findings into actionable recommendations for the Journey strategy.
New Data Technology Adoption:
• Champion the use of new data technologies and techniques by researching industry best practices and partnering with enterprise experts.
Job Requirements
• Related undergraduate degree (e.g.: finance, economics, mathematics, data, business, technology)
• 7+ years experience in related field (e.g. wealth, banking) of which at least 3 years were working?with digital platforms and technology teams as a digital Product Manager/Owner or Agile related delivery experience
• High cognitive skills, superior analytical mindset
• Excellent Excel and data visualization skills; experience building business intelligence and using data visualization tools (e.g Power BI)
• Proven ability to present insights and influence decisions at the executive and senior leadership level
• Skilled in conducting and applying external market research
• Experience with Adobe Analytics is an asset
• Background in self-directed investing is a strong advantage
