The Wireless Construction Project Manager is an integral role within the Eastlink Wireless team, responsible for managing Eastlink’s wireless network project implementation from receipt of building permit to the site being operational.

As the ideal candidate you are an organized, professional and analytical individual who believes the key to success in any project is effective communication. You have strong negotiating skills and financial acumen. Able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a deadline and results driven environment, you excel at problem solving and able to easily adapt to change.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage wireless site projects from permit receipt to operational launch.
  • Lead the bidding process and coordinate construction activities from “ready for construction” to site commissioning.
  • Ensure all sites meet construction standards and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with sub-contractors, government agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Foster an environment of open communication and proactive problem-solving.
  • Address and resolve construction challenges to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement and uphold high-quality outcomes across all projects.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of civil construction project management or other relevant experience, preferably within the Wireless/telecommunications industry.
  • Technical knowledge of the Telecommunications industry, specifically Wireless.
  • Experience reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints and technical information.
  • Ability to travel throughout Atlantic Canada and across Canada as required.
  • A valid Canadian driver’s license is required for this opportunity
