What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager to lead campaigns on our Digital Acquisition Media team. This role is crucial in driving successful acquisition campaigns across various digital platforms and will report into the Senior Manager.

The Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of performance media, including planning, execution, optimization, and reporting. Additional responsibilities may include troubleshooting tracking + tagging issues within both internal and external platforms.

The primary goal is to drive cost-efficient conversions and ensure performance aligns with CPA targets, ultimately contributing to the success of each line of business. A key performance indicator for this role will be meeting or exceeding annual acquisition targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, with experience in Search, Display, and Social media advertising. They will be well-versed in industry-leading platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and or Pinterest.

This role requires a data-driven mindset, excellent analytical skills, the ability to make strategic decisions and accurately communicate business results to key stakeholders. The Manager will play a vital part in our marketing team, contributing to the overall success of RBC's acquisition efforts.

What will you do?

  • Developing and implementing acquisition strategies to meet business objectives
  • Executing and optimizing campaigns to maximize performance and ROI (CPA, conversion rate, keyword bids, quality score, etc)
  • Analyzing campaign data and providing actionable insights to improve results
  • Day-to-day budget & campaign management
  • Forecasting and headroom analysis
  • Financial hygiene of campaigns (billing, invoicing, etc)
  • Troubleshooting tracking and tagging issues
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to communicate performance and provide recommendations
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness

Location and Work Arrangement: Candidates must be located in Toronto and be in office 4 days a week.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Performance media experience driving acquisition (1-3 years)
  • Experience with successfully managing SEM campaigns in Google Ads (Search, Pmax, Demand Gen)
  • Ability to manage large scale budgets across multiple channels, simultaneously
  • Organization and prioritization capabilities
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma

Nice to have:

  • Financial services industry experience, especially of the investing landscape in Canada
  • Experience with successfully managing Meta, TikTok, Reddit and or Pinterest campaigns
  • Understanding of value based bidding
  • Experience creating reports & analysis in excel
  • Familiarity with GA4, GTM, Tableau, SEO
  • Enjoy research and setting up systems and processes
