JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of the Nephrology Learning Client Program, the incumbent's primary responsibility is to ensure the analysis, coordination and deployment of the clinical documentation system. They is also responsible for coaching, clinical and technical support, and creation of reports on the nephrology clinical documentation system for Vitalité Health Network.

The incumbent will provide leadership in supporting super users, physicians and employees to ensure the smooth operation of the software. The incumbent acts as a resource person for the software's super users and all users in general. They participate in the implementation and improvement of clinical processes based on departmental needs and software capabilities, and advise the management team in this regard. They liaise with Service New Brunswick on the maintenance, updating and other technical aspects related to quality assurance of the system.

The incumbent also collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure that the software runs properly according to the specific needs of the nephrology program's services.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in a relevant field (health, computer science, engineering, health care system management);
  • Three years' experience in the implementation and administration of information systems, preferably in the health field;
  • Knowledge of the services offered and the functioning of nephrology services considered an asset;
  • Experience updating client-server systems considered an asset;
  • Experience in quality control of new versions of a software application considered an asset;
  • Work experience with a clinical information system considered an asset;
  • Basic knowledge of management technology, networking and data warehousing;
  • Experience in database management;
  • Ability to program reports;
  • Knowledge of dynamic programming and scripting languages considered an asset;
  • Web programming skills considered an asset;
  • Proven transformational leadership;
