JOB TYPE: Permanent full-time
SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Spoken French and English essential and written French or English

JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Corporate Director of Primary Health Care, the incumbent is responsible for the planning and coordination of facility management services and property protection of all community-based services across Vitalité Health Network in accordance with the Provincial Health Plan, the Regional Health and Business Plan and the Network's Strategic Plan. The incumbent identifies and implements best practices to standardize these across the Network's various points of service.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree (bachelor's) or college diploma in engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, construction), architecture or another field deemed relevant;
- Certificate in project management (PMP), an asset;
- Eight to ten years' experience in a facilities management position involving multiple locations, as well as in the planning and managment of renovation and construction projects;
- Experience in hospital facilities and community health care facilities considered an asset;
- A combination of training and experience deemed equivalent may be considered;
- Proven ability to exercise transformational leadership;
- Ability to set priorities and meet objectives;
- Proven strong operations management skills;
- Ability to manage numerous projects/tasks simultaneously, and understanding of the organization's needs and priorities;
- Analytical, writing and synthesis skills;
- Ability to rally work teams to achieve a common goal;
- Proficiency with common IT tools (Ameritech, Microsoft suite);
- Thorough knowledge of the standards and legislation related to construction, renovations, etc.;
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for necessary travel;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical ability to perform assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
- Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
