Project Manager, Mount Pearl
On behalf of our client, Jump Recruitment is now seeking a full-time Project Manager, in Mount Pearl, NL. Moss Development Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with five plus years of experience in the construction industry to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong communication and relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Experience working in Labrador or remote areas will be considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Coordinate with design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability.
  • Lead regular site and coordination meetings; track and resolve project issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Oversee change management, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Support and mentor junior staff as needed.
  • Communicate proactively with all stakeholders to ensure clear expectations and accountability.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, etc.), and other construction management tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
