The is Senior, Account Management and Activations, Corporate Giving is responsible for managing the development and growth of an existing portfolio of high value corporate partners. This role will provide excellence in donor experience through the planning and execution of contractually obligated activations and engagements that drive revenue growth and deeper engagement with the Canadian Red Cross. This job involves strategic oversight of national corporate campaigns and the attainment of their revenue objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Account Management, Corporate Giving, this role involves proactively engaging, and cultivating relationships with corporate partners, and implementing engagement strategies and initiatives. This role supports the planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising efforts to meet revenue targets. Additionally, this role collaborates with internal teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities while ensuring compliance with ethical fundraising standards and best practices.
In this role, you will:
Account Management
- Cultivate and grow a portfolio of high-value corporate partnerships to increase both unrestricted and restricted revenue.
- Develop tailored engagement and activation strategies to strengthen donor relationships and maximize partnership value.
- Deliver exceptional donor experiences to enhance corporate partner retention and growth.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in CRM, as well as relevant trackers and reporting tools.
- Support the planning and execution of essential customer-facing campaigns and marketing activations, as outlined in partnership agreements.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure all deliverables are successfully developed and implemented.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize revenue generation and partnership engagement.
- Partner with the Business Development team to transition secured partnerships into long-term, high-impact relationships.
- Identify new opportunities and/or integrate partner products and/or services aligned with our organizational mandate.
- Manage high-value partnerships through emergency appeal cycles.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and senior leadership to ensure alignment between fundraising efforts and organizational priorities and to ensure a seamless donor experience.
- Track and analyze fundraising performance metrics, maintaining accurate donor records, and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve revenue goals.
- Adhere to ethical fundraising standards, donor privacy regulations, and industry best practices to maintain donor trust and organizational integrity.
Activations, Engagements and Campaigns
- Lead the execution and planning of activation experiences and engagement opportunities as outlined in partnership agreements.
- Ensure the successful delivery of national corporate campaigns, events, and emergency appeals, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align corporate partnership activities with organizational priorities.
- Strategically plan, manage, and execute national corporate campaigns aimed at driving channel revenue growth.
- Collaborate with various Philanthropy teams to efficiently coordinate fundraising initiatives, including capital campaigns and special projects.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 6-9 years experience and a 3-year college diploma or university degree in philanthropy, fundraising, business administration, marketing or related field and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in philanthropy and fundraising, including corporate partners.
- Proficiency in standard computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite) and fundraising databases.
- Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and best practices, including donor experience, engagement, retention and recognition strategies.
- Ability to identify complex problems, analyze interrelated factors, assess and mitigate risks, and develop solutions using specialized skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen, with experience in performance and data analysis.
- Planning, project management, administrative leadership and financial management.
- Ability to bring multiple stakeholders together to understand project deliverables.
- Communication and influence skills to gather perspectives, understand needs, and present information to reach consensus, often in somewhat sensitive situations.
- Fluency in English is required; French is an asset.
