Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)
Placement Duration: January - April 2026
Department: Housing New Brunswick (HNB)
Placement Description: We are seeking a motivated, patient, and detail-oriented student to support our Records Manager with key records management tasks. Working closely with the Records Manager, the student will help inventory physical documents and technical drawings, review files related to the Corporation's public and subsidized housing programs and assist in preparing records for transfer to the Records Centre. The student will also gather data, create reports, and collaborate with internal subject matter experts at HNB. Additional responsibilities include maintaining tracking sheets, preparing materials for meetings and presentations, and providing general support to the Records Manager as needed.
This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.
Need to have:

• Language requirement: Bilingual
• Enrolled in a post-secondary institution

Nice to have: The ideal candidate will be well-organized, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. An interest in archives or records and information management is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams and SharePoint. Experience working with databases would be considered an asset.
