Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)
Placement Duration: January - April 2026
Department: Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD)
Placement Description: This placement offers an opportunity to support the Integrated Services Division on projects that improve communication, coordination, and technical processes across departments. The student will help enhance internal tracking and reporting systems using Excel, automate the distribution of Learning Series and System Navigation Sessions, and work with IT teams in other departments and districts to ensure systems operate smoothly. Additional responsibilities include organizing resources in SharePoint, managing mailing lists, and supporting large-scale communications. This role combines technical problem-solving with collaboration and process improvement.
This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.
Need to have:

• Language requirement: English or French
  
• Enrolled in a post-secondary program in information systems or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have: The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
