Salary: $18.00/hour
Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)
Placement Duration: January - April 2026
Department: Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD)
Placement Description: The successful candidate will support more than 20 schools in developing equity action projects that are culturally and linguistically responsive and led by students. Working under the guidance of the Learning Specialist for Equity & Inclusion and the Learning Specialist for Culturally & Linguistically Inclusive Schools, the student will assist with project coordination, communication, and other related tasks as assigned. This role provides hands-on experience in promoting equity, inclusion, and student engagement within the education system.
This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.
Need to have:

• Language requirement: English or Bilingual
• Studying in Education, Social Sciences, Public Health, or related field
• Basic project planning and management
• Competencies with Microsoft 365

Nice to have: Comfortable emailing to schedule meetings and leading planning meetings (training provided) to support the identification of a project plan with a measurable outcome.
