Salary: $18.00/hour
Hours per week: Flexible (around 20 hours)
Placement Duration: January - April 2026
Department: Social Development (SD)
Placement Description: The student will support the review and update of provincial standards and procedures for adult residential facilities. They will assist with consultations involving Social Development regional offices, help develop presentations for regional staff on new policies, procedures, and investigation processes, and contribute to the budgeting process for adult residential facilities. The student will also collaborate closely with the Long-Term Care and Adult Protection teams to ensure consistency and quality across programs.
This role offers an opportunity for skills development and hands-on experience.
Need to have:

• Language requirement: Bilingual
• Studying in Social Sciences (Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Criminology, etc.)

Nice to have: Strong oral and written communication skills are important for this role. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is valued. Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset, and experience using Microsoft Office is preferred.
