Job Description
The Associate Director, Salesforce Development Lead will be responsible for the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems and is actively a part of the application development of the new Capital Markets CRM Salesforce FSC application. This is a new application build that will leverage core CI/CD frameworks to continue to build out new CRM capabilities. Looking for someone with an innovative and engineering mindset with strong Salesforce CRM development experience to continue to build out the best-in-class and differentiated CRM application. Liaising with the other development team members, he/she participates to work and embrace engineering principles, identify and use modern development tools, and optimize CI/CD pipeline with full deployment automation. This is a both hands-on development role with an opportunity to lead a strong team of developers.
What will you do?
CRM Development Toronto Team Lead responsible for the E2E development of the CRM Salesforce platform
Manage all the day to day App Dev activities, be accountable for the quality of the development, Mobile, interoperability with other system, CI/CD process is defined/followed and ultimately resolving all CRM related Data issues. Key role to help drive the end delivery of the CRM migration program.
Hands-on development with team management responsibilities
Analyzing features such as feasibility, associated costs, time, and the compatibility of new programs with existing programs, and hardware. Ensuring that expected application performance levels are achieved
Consulting on business assessment and requirements analysis processes, for the development of hardware and operating systems.
Performing complex application programming activities, including coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, and modifying complex applications programs.
Coordinating coding, testing, implementation and documentation of application solutions.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
A Bachelor of Science/Engineering Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field of study with 7+ years' experience hands-on development experience including 5+ years developing within the Salesforce.com and leveraging AI
2+ years of people management experience with proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices
Experience working with Large data sets, bulkification, data migration and data cleanup
Experience in Agile development and version control systems like GitHub and build frameworks like TeamCity/Jenkins/Artifactory/UCD, etc.
Hands-on programming experience (e.g., Java, Apex, LWC, Visualforce, etc.) and capable to debug code independently and peer code-review
Knowledge of developing distributed cloud applications (Docker/ Kubernetes /Containerization)
Nice-to-have
Experience with within the FSC platform
Working experience in Capital Markets
Prior experience in Python, enterprise DataLake concepts (S3, Aperture, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret data formats, including SQL, YAML, JSON, and XML
Working experience with APIs including using Postman
